CollectorCarTraderOnline.com is pleased to announce the launch of its Club Affiliate Program in conjunction with the release of the site's new homepage.
This program will give car club members the ability to earn money back for their clubs every time they place a car for sale on CollectorCarTraderOnline.com.
The buy and sell feature will be placed on participating club's homepages and link directly to CollectorCarTraderOnline.com. When a member uses this link to sell their car on the site, the club will benefit by receiving a kickback.
This program follows the success of the Club Connection website, which allows car clubs across the country to link their own website and activities to one centralized, searchable database.
"After the success of the Club Connection program it just made sense to take it one step further and offer clubs an opportunity to become affiliates," said Cristy Sanders, Club Affiliate Manager. "The Club Affiliate program gives car clubs across America a chance to partner with CollectorCarTraderOnline.com in order to earn money for their organizations. So, not only do members earn money for their clubs when they place-an-ad on CCTOL but they are selling their car on the best specialty car classified site around-everybody wins! We're very excited about the program on our end and hope that the clubs share in this enthusiasm."
To learn more about the Club Affiliate program visit CollectorCarTraderOnline.com and click on the "Affiliate Program" link located in the left-hand navigation bar.

Two different studies indicate that higher energy prices are driving more consumers online to shop. Forrester Research reports that 2.5 million new households will shop online in 2005 due the fact that consumers are concerned about the increasing cost of gasoline and heating their homes. A similar study released by Shopzilla indicates that 40% of consumers have increased their online buying as a result of high gas prices.
With gas prices still high and winter quickly approaching, more consumers are taking to the web to comparison shop as well. The used vehicle market is no exception. The TraderOnline web sites have experienced a 12.7% increase in visitors and a 10.2% increase in searches since Hurricane Katrina hit in late August compared with a yearly growth of 9.55% and 4.74%, respectively.

Below are five tips to keep in mind when purchasing an item on our sites.
- Know the vehicle's market value. Be suspicious of a vehicle priced significantly below market value. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
- Inspect the vehicle. Schedule an inspection with a professional mechanic or an inspection service if the vehicle is not in your area. An early inspection can help you identify problems. However, keep in mind than an inspection isn't a warranty and won't guarantee a vehicle is free from defects or that inspectors have identified all existing problems.
- Confirm contact information. Before you send payment, verify the seller's street address and phone number-an e-mail address is not enough. ZIP codes, area codes and addresses should match up. Be way if the seller is located overseas.
- Get a detailed receipt. Ask the seller for a receipt that states whether the vehicle is being sold with a warranty or "as is."
- Get title to the vehicle. Make sure you know what's required in your state to transfer title to the vehicle you're buying.
